This supplement is Just 650 mg of Betaine HCl & 130 mg acid stable protease in the form of Pepsin per capsule. But, don't let the simplicity of this formula fool you! These are the 2 things most needed for proper stomach functioning! Research suggests that the healthy production of hydrochloric acid and gastric enzymes are uniquely vulnerable to the effects of stress, occasional sleeplessness, and the natural aging process. Betaine HCl provides a combination of betaine hydrochloride and pepsin that works with the body to support healthy stomach acidity, gastric function, and protein digestion.
When proteins aren't broken down properly they will putrefy in the gastrointestinal tract. This will generally cause many unwanted symptoms like pathogenic overgrowth, body odor & bad breath are common. There are too many to teach on here!
